Draft Climate Change Policy

Consultation has concluded

As a local council there is a lot we can do to ensure our community and the places we all love and look after are better able to cope with the impacts of climate change.

We have developed a draft Climate Change Policy to set guiding principles to continue preparing for this future.

The draft policy outlines broad actions on climate change and will enable Council to align its operations and strategic planning with the NSW State Climate Change Policy Framework.

Make a submission

The draft Policy is on public exhibition from 4 February to 15 March 2019.

Submissions will be accepted until 15 March 2019 and can be sent via:

Your attention is drawn to the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 which allows for possible access to certain public and personal documentation.
