The existing skatepark at Hylton Moore Oval is ageing, has limited functionality and is due for an upgrade to a modern facility that better meets the needs of the local community.

Council is funding both the design and construction of the new skate park, with works expected to begin in the 2026–27 financial year.

Once phase 2 of community consultation is done, we will review all your feedback and make any necessary changes to the concept design before it is finalised. Once finalised, we will share the designs on this page. Be sure to follow this page for updates!

Between Monday 23 February and Monday 23 March 2026, we asked the community to share their ideas for the new skatepark design, including the style, layout and features you’d like to see, the types of wheels you ride on, and how you would like to use this space.
