Consultation for this project has now concluded.

Thank you to everyone who provided comments on the Terrigal CBD traffic flow improvements and participated in Let's talk Terrigal in 2018. Below is a snapshot of key projects discussed during this important consultation with the community.

CBD traffic flow improvements Stages 1 & 2

Stage 1 construction of the Terrigal CBD traffic flow improvements is complete.

Prior to construction we listened to the concerns and suggestions from the community to revise and finalise Stage 1 designs. Essential considerations such as technical constraints, costs and the overarching project objectives were considered to create a safe and functional project.

Funding for Stage 2 has not been fully secured and is subject to further community consultation.

Parking in Terrigal

Terrigal is a much loved year-round hub for locals as well as a popular destination for an ever-growing number of visitors. We recognise the need for a balance between the economic benefits of tourism and accommodating the needs of locals and have been addressing this challenge for a number of years.

Council has developed a Parking Study and Implementation Plan for hot spots across the Central Coast, which included investigations into parking requirements in Terrigal.

Terrigal Rock Pool

Works to upgrade the rock pool are expected to be completed before the 2020/21 summer season. This project is being funded by the NSW Government which has provided $250,000 from the Public Reserves Management Fund Program to assist with works.

Terrigal Boardwalk

Central Coast Council is building a boardwalk from Terrigal Beach promenade to The Haven.
