We are upgrading Vera’s Water Garden as part of The Entrance Revitalisation Project and we invited you to participate in a straightforward poll regarding the future of Vera’s statue - does she stay, or does she go?
Vera’s Water Garden will receive a significant upgrade to a modern, zero-depth splash park. This will enhance accessibility and interactive play for all users. We asked your opinion on whether the glow up proceeds with or without Vera's statue as an icon of The Entrance. This will help shape the final design of the upgraded splash park.
Whether you want Vera to stay or go, the new design will be a zero-depth splash park.
The Vera’s Water Garden upgrade is a component of The Entrance Revitalisation Project, which also includes upgrades to The Grant McBride Baths and the installation of a new accessible swing and shade sails at The Entrance Waterfront Plaza.
The central question is simple: Does Vera’s statue stay, or does it go? Whatever is the most popular choice will dictate whether Vera stays and receives a makeover or whether she is removed and replaced with play equipment.
