Gosford Memorial Park and Rotary Park are much-loved public spaces in the heart of Gosford, each with a unique history and meaning for the local community. The draft Gosford Memorial Park and Rotary Park Conservation Management Plan has been prepared to guide how these parks are cared for, used and improved.

The Conservation Management Plan addresses how to balance new uses and upgrades, like improving accessibility or adding new amenities, with the need to look after the parks’ character and significance.

What's next?

Council is currently reviewing all feedback received during public exhibition and will amend the Conservation Management Plan where appropriate. The final Conservation Management Plan and results of the exhibition will then be presented to Council for formal adoption.

Following adoption, a ‘closing the loop statement’ will be available on this page, whereby the key themes and concerns raised during public exhibition will be addressed, with Council’s formal response.

Council has received grant funding under the Metropolitan Greenspace Program to progress a masterplan for Gosford Memorial Park and Rotary Park. Council is currently in the project planning phase and will be engaging with key stakeholders and the community as the project progresses.
